JulDayPro Interactive "Day Of Year" Calculator from Digital Burro
If you need the current day of the year (DOY), you need JulDayPro. JDP performs interactive Julian/DOY calculations between Gregorian/Julian calendars and shows the current DOY as a screen widget. No need to open the application, the DOY will be visible on the Android home page while you are working on logbooks/reports! The screen widget updates at midnight, so you will never have a incorrect DOY. Simply tap the widget to open the application to use the calculator. New for version 1.6! Widget update for UTC or local time. Updated Julian/DOY user interface. Widget now supports user defined colors. About (modified) Julian Day/Day Of Year: For example, January 1 is Julian 1, February 28 is Julian 59, etc. Of course, for a leap year February 29 would be Julian 60. The (modified) Julian Day/Day of Year is commonly employed by agriculture, food service, manufacturing and the military. Modified Julian Day/Day of Year provides a simple mechanism to track manufacturing dates, production dates or just a simple way to track days (or difference between days).
